Artist On The Rise!! @RICOSUAVE

Sometime's I think people are ready for change, then there are times where changes comes with a swift kick in the ass. An this may just be one of those time's where it's a little bit of both when it comes to this up & coming artist Ricosuave. Young, fresh, and charismatic this is one of the first times I've gotten a chance to hear a artist that was both musically aware yet able to deliver lines with an almost "eff u i got this shit" attitude. I must say that kick in the ass was refreshing, because just like many I have become a "I'm str8 brah" type nigga when it comes to convincing me to just listen to a cd, it becomes nothing more than something to roll my herbal remedy products on in the car.

Born Terico Harper the self proclaimed "Atlanta Rap Superhero" (def got a kick out of the multiple alias's and nick names lol) has been rhyming in some form or fashion since the 5th grade. Poetry and a family with a musical ear pushed him at an early age to cultivate what was then seen as just a fun play on words to what is now the fire in the torch blazing his way.

"What 3 words best describe you as an artist?" I ask over the phone to hear a focused Ricosuave repeat the question to himself "insightful, analytical, and unique". The answer catches me off guard to be honest, at the moment I didn't really think about it until I had to get my notes together. Insightful, analytical, unique three words rarely used to describe a rap artist, boisterous, narcissistic, and high breaks down most Atlanta rappers I know.

After joking around a bit talking about the twitter phenomenon I had to ask the Atl Rap Superhero the tough questions "Who came first the MC or the DJ" an obvious rehash of the chicken or the egg the ultimate causality dilemma. "Shyyd I gotta say the DJ...".

Alright I can give it to em now cause a narcissist would have definitely snatched claim to that one, I now can say "I fuxs wit Ricosuave" cause we all know you have got to give DJ's they props.

Now we've talked about everything from twitter to who's the baddest out the Megan's "Megan Fox or Good" with a laugh , and with no hesitation "MEGAN GOOD BRAH.... SHE BEEN BAD SINCE COUSIN SKEETER". I couldn't give my answer as fast, but dude had no question its all Good. After talking so long I had to know, "So whats next you've been performing you've dropped mixtape's, what can we expect next from Ricosuave". Who on this week was charged for breaking probation an sentenced to 12 months jail time (via MTV NEW). So officially on count Gucci Mane, Lil Bossie, T.I. , and Lil Wayne will be serving at the same time at some point (that let out gonna be nasty though lol). Then the day after Gucci's sentencing the video "Worst Enemy" hit the web.
